About BlackArray
One operator.
Serious AI capability.
BlackArray LLC is the practice of John Kramarczyk, a senior AI/ML practitioner offering hands-on expertise to the partners he teams with on their most demanding programs.
Why BlackArray
Big-shop capability, without the big-shop overhead.
I spent my career building AI and machine-learning systems for hard, high-consequence problems, across data science, deep learning, natural language processing, LLM and RAG application development, test and evaluation, and computer vision.
[Add a short paragraph about your background here: prior roles and organizations, the kinds of programs or missions you've supported, your degrees or certifications, and what you're known for. This is the part partners and capture managers read most closely.]
I founded BlackArray to bring that expertise directly to the teams that need it, as a nimble subcontractor a partner can add without the layers, markups, and ramp-up of a large firm. When you work with BlackArray, you work with the person doing the work.
How I work
Principles behind the work.
Mission before everything
The work has real stakes. I take on problems where getting AI right actually matters, and I treat that responsibility accordingly.
Rigor over hype
AI is easy to demo and hard to field. I bias toward evaluation, honesty about limitations, and systems that survive real scrutiny.
Accountable and hands-on
You get a principal doing the work, reachable, responsive, and personally on the hook for the outcome. No hand-offs to a bench.
A partner to your team
I make my teammates look good: easy to contract, easy to integrate, and focused on helping you win and deliver.
